Research Team on Inclusion and Governance in Latin America

The research team on Inclusion and Governance in Latin America (ÉRIGAL) was created in 2017 and is led by Françoise Montambeault (Political Science, Université de Montréal). The team is interested in major social and political transformations in Latin America that have been taking place since the turn of the 21st century and has developed agenda around three main themes:


Development governance
and citizenship regimes;


Informality in public space
and modes of governance;


Governance of conflicts:
resilience and resistance.
