Kathy Meilleur is a PhD candidate in Political Science at Concordia University. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and International Law and a Master's degree in Political Science (UQAM) in which she focused on violence in the Nigerian Niger delta, her current research is concentrated on violence in the Jamaican society. Dr. Tina Hilgers is her thesis director.
