Natalia is in her final year of her undergraduate degree, completing a Joint Honors in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and History at McGill University. Originally from Los Angeles, Natalia is interested in immigration dynamics between Latin America and the U.S./Canada and has worked in nonprofits in the immigration and refugee sector in both Los Angeles and Mexico City. Natalia is currently working on a research project through McGill developing a historical curriculum for Atikamekw high school students in northern Quebec, working with indigenous groups from Latin America to incorporate a transnational indigenous history into the curriculum. Natalia is looking forward to hearing new perspectives and ideas from her ERIGAL cohort.
